Bed and Breakfast in Brooklyn is a small, lovingly restored farmhouse dating from the time when Brooklyn was a farm on the outskirts of the village of Pretoria, some 100 years ago. It is now a beautiful tree-lined upmarket suburb of the city.
We offer:2 bedrooms: both with 2x single beds, either a double bedroom with ensuite facilities.Bed and Breakfast in Brooklyn is close to Menlyn shopping mall (+300 shops)l and Brooklyn Mall with upmarket boutiques, restaurants and cafes in the 'Diplomatic' suburbs of Pretoria.
Both rooms have ceiling fans, oil heaters, electric blankets, tea/coffee-making trollies,
TV, private off-street parking and their own entrances.
Relax in the family lounge, two verandahs or the shady garden.
Very good rates for patients who need treatment over a period of time.
We are within walking distance of the University of Pretoria and within a 5km radius of UNISA university, SA Bureau of Standards, CSIR, Little company of Mary (24hr Trauma hospital), Zuid-Afrikaans and Jacaranda hospitals, plus all of the main specialist hospitals in the city.
The guest house is 2km off the main N1 Highway, 35mins from JIA airport and 45minutes from Johannesburg city.
Bed & Breakfast in Brooklyn is a member of BBAP and NAA, organisations which ensure high standards.
Airport transfers can be arranged.The B&B owners, Norman and Olive Orsmond are professional National Tourist Guides, able to provide advice on tourism matters.
